Bigg Boss 9 or Nau, as it is called, had its grand premiere last night and Salman Khan started the show with a tour of the new Bigg Boss house. Salman took the mic and introduced the concept of ‘double trouble’ to the viewers and one by one introduced the contestants. He interacted, poked fun and entertained both the contestants and the audience!

Salman also sported a new look for the new season:

2. Kishwer Merchant & Aman Verma

Kishwer, who made a grand entry on the show with her boyfriend of five years Suyyash Rai, was given a choice between Aman Verma and Prince Narula. Kishwer chose Aman as her partner.

3.  Rimmi Sen & Suyyash Rai

She too was given a choice to choose her partner between Prince Narula and Suyyash Rai. Yet again, Prince was rejected and Rimi chose Suyyash, who is Kishwer’s boyfriend, as her partner.

Yuvika choses Vikas as her partner and expressed her displeasure about Prince.

A sizzling performance by Rochelle and Mandana followed…

5. Rochelle Rao & Prince Narula

Prince Narula, who was rejected by six girls, bagged the opportunity to choose his partner and zeroed down on Rochelle.

6. Mandana Karimi & Keith Sequeira

Mandana chose Keith Sequeira, a VJ-actor. The twist in the tale was that he happens to be Rochelle’s boyfriend.

7. Ankit Gera & Arvind Vegda

Ankit’s partner is singer Arvind Vegda.

Seven jodis, two couples, one ex-couple and a Prince, who was rejected by six girls and shot to fame within 45 minutes of the show – the first episode of ‘Bigg Boss 9’, couldn’t get spicier than this!

In the first task, Bigg Boss will allow only one bag per jodi to enter the house. Now whose bag will make it to the house and who will compromise is something that we shall come to know tomorrow!
