During the month of July, Pakistan’s automotive sector sales escalated by 41%. Around 19,577 units were sold throughout the month.

The sales include top manufacturers such as Pak Suzuki Motors, Indus Motor Company, and Honda Atlas.

Sales Breakdown

Breaking down the sales:

  • the boost in sales for Honda Atlas comes after an increase in sales for the new BR-V and the new Honda Civic. Throughout July, the company managed to successfully sales over 4,500 units, growing by 113%.
  • On the other hand, Indus Motor Company sold a little over 4,100 units, giving their sales an increase of 11%. For Toyota, the high-end Fortuner remained the star of the spotlight increasing company sales by 543%.
  • According to the sources, Pak Suzuki Motor has been one of the most successful auto companies in Pakistan due to its affordable models.
  • Ravi’s 41%, Cultus’ 66%, and WagonR’s 77% year on year sales meant an overall 37% increase in total sales.

Other Vehicles

With several ongoing city development projects conducting throughout the country, the sector has seen an increase in heavy-duty machines as well. Sales have grown by 125%. Asides heavy vehicles, bus and truck sales have also seen an increase of 13% increase to 792 units. 152,086 units of two and three-wheeler were sold, showing a cumulative growth of 42%.
