The iconic Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has been honored in the latest Pakistani book, 100 Pakistanis: The Famous & Influential. The singer has earned great respect and popularity in the music industry owed to his back to back successful hits and amazing voice not only in Pakistani but also across the border- the singer has been a symbol of peace across continents.

The book, 100 Pakistanis: The Famous & Influential is co-founded by Adam Jabbar and published by the Universal Oxford Publications. The book comprises of the all the interviews and stories of 100 prominent Pakistanis including Abdul Sattar Edhi.

Starting his career from the popular song ‘Aadat’ to several hit songs in superhit Bollywood movies, Atif Aslam is no doubt the true rockstar of the subcontinent.

Atif Aslam has shared his brief biographical interview, that includes the place where he was born, where grew up, his success story in the book and also mentions that he considers Abdul Sattar Edhi and Abida Parveen as the most influential people of Pakistan.

“To me influence is not about making people scared with your authority, influence is something which makes people love you in their heart. ” says Atif Aslam in his interview in the 100 Pakistanis: The Famous & Influential Book.

The book aims to promote a positive image of Pakistan through this book by highlighting some distinguished Pakistanis.

It is a great honor for Atif Aslam to be named amongst the likes of the nuclear Scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi, former squash legend Jahangir Khan, cricketer Shahid Afridi and female mountain climber Samina Khayal Baig.
