As the iPhone 8 release date comes closer and closer, we have started to come across interesting concept images of the handset.

The technical schematics of the anticipated flagship has leaked online. According to the leak, and if the drawings are accurate, the iPhone 8 is not a single bit attractive at all.

The rumours portray that the iPhone 8 will be equipped with razor-thin bezels around the front display, as well as the removal of the physical Home Button, following Samsung’s successful experiment with Samsung S8, the idea of dropping the Home Button will end up being a success.

Also, it looks like the camera will shift from horizontal to vertical, stacked on top of one another, in the top-left corner. Unfortunately, the worst part of the design seems to be the fingerprint sensor which seems to be placed in the middle of the body on the rear of the iPhone 8, under the Apple logo.

The iPhone manufacturer was reportedly hoping to embed the Touch ID fingerprint scanner technology, which until now has been housed within the physical button, beneath the glass display. However, it might be just a little bit early to judge.

According to those with knowledge of the company’s internal approval process, the iPhone must still pass a Design Validation Test and Production Validation Test stage before being finalised ready for the September release date. As a result, some of the design decisions showcased in these schematics are not necessarily locked down.
