History:
Initially established in 1951 as LINTAS, Unilever’s in-house advertising agency, and based in Karachi, , it is not until the late 60s that we started handling non-Lever business as well. This came in the form of GLAXO in 1967.
Prior to this, the agency handled 100% of the unilever portfolio and was responsible for making brands such as SURF, LUX, LIPTON and DALDA household names.
In 1972, local equity was acquired and the agency became R-LINTAS, a name that has become as iconic within the advertising/marketing sphere as the brands we have developed. Over the years our former agency personnel have gone on to achieve greater prospects, from major multi-national corporations, to artists, writers, directors and even fellow advertising professionals!
2003, spawned a new era for this iconic agency, as, with the international buyout of LINTAS, we became LOWE & RAUF!
