Punjab Government had pitched a couple years ago the idea of giving the province free Wi-Fi services, and they have actually lived up to it. The government has successfully placed Wi-Fi devices across 50 locations throughout Pakistan with the help of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
In order to connect, the users will have to do the following;
- Open your mobile settings and search for available WiFi hotspots in your vicinity
- Select “PunjabWifi” from the available hot spots and wait for 5 seconds
You can download the Wi-Fi locator application from the Play Store to find a nearby Hotspot.
